Allan Rayment

Integrative Counsellor

My name is Alan Rayment I am a fully insured and qualified integrative counsellor, a member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy.

 

As well as been a counsellor I have worked in education for 16 years, the NHS and Youth Services. My purpose for Counselling & Coaching stems from my desire to help others helping them to discover about the past & present, to support individuals and be a positive role model. I hold a wide variety of qualifications including a BA Honours in Counselling & FdA in Counselling. Counselling Children and Young People including Play Therapy. I hold Coaching in Performance and Peer Coaching Award gained through the Competency Framework of the Association of Coaching.

 

I currently volunteer for Cruse Bereavement Support as a Bereavement Volunteer and Supervisor. In addition, hold Certificates in Supervision, Education, Leadership & Management, Mental Health First Aid, A level Sport Coaching Teaching and Instructing. I am an excellent communicator, a true people person, possess fantastic organisation skills. A committed person who enjoys a challenge, strives for excellence, and always goes that extra mile in everything I do.

 

When counselling & coaching you can expect a calm and relaxed atmosphere. I will be non-judgemental throughout our sessions, provide feedback, question for exploration, and use my active listening skills. Coaching will help you set and achieve goals; counselling will help you recognise and solve problems.
