Fiona Burr
Adult and Young Person Therapist and Personal Trainer
Hi, my name is Fiona and I work at New Beginnings as an adult and young person’s therapist.
I have always had a passion for helping people but was unsure of how I wanted to direct it. Throughout my career I have worked with many different clients with individual needs and abilities. I have experience as a swimming instructor, fitness instructor, one-to one’s, fitness classes, care worker, and currently working as a massage and holistic therapist alongside my passion of providing a counselling service.
I am empathetic, understanding, caring and kind. And appreciate every individual is unique, and we will work together at a pace that suits you. We will work together throughout your therapy sessions to give you the tools you need to make positive change and enable you to be more resilient to life’s challenges.
Alongside being a therapist, I run a massage and holistic business, I am a busy fiancé, daughter, friend, sister, auntie and always looking what to study next.
I understand the pressures of trying to be your best for everyone, run a home, work, be a good partner, family member and friend, and the general pressures of everyday life.
My own life experience’s enables me to understand and empathise with many people’s challenges and drives me to want to help people.
