Teen Boys Fitness Club: Building Strong Foundations for a Healthy Future

Are you a male teen aged 11 to 16 looking to embark on a fitness journey in a positive and supportive environment?

 

Join us at New Beginnings Teen Boys Fitness Club, where our goal is to nurture not just physical strength but also lifelong skills and a positive mindset.

 

Program Highlights:

1. Enhance Motor Skills & Better Movement: Engage in group workouts designed to enhance motor skills and improve overall movement. Develop coordination and agility through carefully curated exercises.

 

2. Increase Strength and Conditioning: Tailored workouts to boost strength and conditioning, applicable to various sports. Work towards achieving personal fitness goals while fostering a love for physical activity.

 

3. Goal-Setting and Self-Discipline: Learn the art of goal-setting and attain them through self-discipline. Cultivate a sense of achievement and resilience through dedicated efforts.

 

4. Lifelong Love of Physical Activity: Foster a genuine passion for physical activity and fitness. Create habits that contribute to a healthy and active lifestyle beyond the teen years.

 

5. Positive Body Image: Promote a positive body image by emphasizing the capabilities of the body. Encourage self-acceptance and appreciation for individual strengths.

 

6. Health, Fitness, and Nutrition Education: Gain a better understanding of health, fitness, and nutrition. Equip teens with the knowledge to make informed and healthy lifestyle choices.

8. Injury Prevention: Receive guidance on exercises that contribute to injury prevention. Learn the importance of proper form and technique in physical activities.

Join Us: Sessions are held on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:45 pm to 4:30 pm, providing a convenient after-school opportunity for teens to invest in their well-being. Each session is FULLY FUNDED, ensuring accessibility for all.

Physical activity has long been shown to improve mental health and build self-esteem, resilience and self-discipline.

Anti-social Behaviour & Crime Prevention

Physical activity has a huge role to play in helping ex-offenders to get back on their feet and build positive lives free of crime.

Physical activity has the power to transform offenders’ outlook on life – it brings together disparate groups, develops communication skills and delivers improvements in physical and mental health. 

Yet physical activity has the power to go much further than that. It has a vital role to play in addressing the very issues that lead to crime in the first place, particularly among younger people. 

Physical activity offers new opportunities for disengaged young people – fostering social connections, delivering learning opportunities and exposing them to positive influences.
